Milking persistency is defined as a difference in milk yields between 60 and 240 days in milk and estimated at the same time as evaluation of milk production. Evaluations are expressed in relative EBV with average of 100 and standard deviation of 1.
The evaluation model is the same as production trait.
Heritability is 0.19.
